Au Soleil Ocre is a spacious property located in Avignon on the island of La Barthelasse, close to the Popes' Palace and in July to the Theatre Festival of Avignon, near the region of Luberon in Provence and the Mount Ventoux.

Our house with its lovely swimming pool (12x6 Meters) is built in a Provençal style and is nestled within a one acre garden.  Rooms are tastefully furnished with air-conditioning and high standard of comfort bedding.  Free Wi Fi connection is available everywhere and you will be able to park your car with complete peace of mind in a secure enclosure.

All year long, we offer several possibilities for accommodation and vacation rentals: a vacation home rental (14 people) and two vacation apartments rentals.

We are only about 5 minutes by car from two major historical city centres: Avignon and Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. The main highways connect you directly in under 2 hours' drive to magnificent touristic regions such as the Camargue or the Mediterranean coast and its splendid sandy beaches, to many wonderful historical villages, to name but a few : Vaison-la-Romaine, Isle-sur- la-Sorgues, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Lourmarin, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Les Baux de Provence, Uzès...

You have the opportunity to participate easily in your favourite sports or leisure activities on the island and its surroundings: bike-riding  or hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis, rowing, golf, fishing in lakes, river cruises... It will be our great pleasure to welcome you and to guide you in a relaxed and multicultural atmosphere.
